Share a Story Live digital events

We are thrilled to present 2021’s curated flagship digital events, to really bring stories to life in the classroom and beyond! Featuring a variety of our multi-talented £1 authors and illustrators, there’s plenty of opportunity for interactive learning and exciting discussions about books – to be enjoyed during World Book Day week and all year round.

Our live event for secondary students this year invites young people and authors to consider reading’s relationship with the real world.

Taking place on Friday 5th March at 10:30am – live on the World Book Day website and our YouTube channel – this event is hosted by actor and podcaster Jessie Cave and features World Book Day authors Sita Brahmachari, Jess French and Katherine Rundell.
